Frequently Asked Wait List Questions
+ When should I get on the wait list?
As soon as possible!! We have had families get on our wait list as soon as they think about trying to have a baby. It is never too early to secure your spot on the list. If you aren’t ready when we give you a call, you can turn down the offer and keep your place in line for the next slot.
+ Is there a cost to get on the wait list?
No, there is no cost to get on the wait list.
+ How do I know where I am on the wait list?
The wait list is kept by the date you get on the wait list. After you fill everything out, you should receive a confirmation email from ProCare as well as the Program Coordinator confirming we have received your application on the wait list.
+ How does the wait list work?
We do the large majority of our enrollments and transitions in September. This is when our older children head off to public school and everyone can move up to the next classroom. We occasionally have movement in June, when school ends and every now and again, have spots that open throughout the year.
In late March, early April, we determine the openings we expect to have in September. When we know what availability we will have for the upcoming months, we will turn to our wait list to start filling with children who match the ages we have available. We do prioritize at-risk families, so sometimes the wait list can move more slowly.
+ When will I get a spot?
It is hard to determine a date that space will be available as there are many factors that determine if a spot is available. This includes the room we have a spot open, age of child and priority enrollment.
+ When Can I have a tour?
A tour can be scheduled when we indicate that there is a spot available for your child.
+ How can I check my wait list application?
You can email the Program Coordinator at anytime to check your status on the wait list.
+ How do I let you know if I have moved or if any of my information has changed?
If any information has changed such as address, phone number, days needed. Please email the Program Coordinator YFOcampaign@gmail.com . Also if you are pregnant and have had your baby, please let us know the birth date and name (if we don't already have it)
+ Do I need to let you know to move my child to the Toddler/Preschool wait list?
No, we run one wait list and sort it by age when we go to fill a slot. You will remain on the wait list until your child ages out of eligibility for any of our classrooms OR you ask us to remove you from the waitlist.
+ What happens when I am offered a spot?
We will offer a tour first, and then give you a couple days to make your decision. Once you confirm that you want the slot, a non-refundable deposit of two-weeks tuition is required to hold the spot.
